Description
Course Description: Project Management
The Project Management course at LABE prepares learners to confidently manage projects from initiation to closure across any industry. This program introduces the core principles, frameworks, and practical techniques used by successful project managers while providing hands-on exposure to assignments, reporting, stakeholder engagement, and real project scenarios.
Across four structured weeks, learners explore the full project lifecycle, key project roles, project scope, requirements gathering, cost management, and planning essentials. The course examines major project management methodologies including Agile, Waterfall, and PRINCE2, and provides practical insights into the Agile Scrum process and roles. Participants also gain skills in stakeholder management, conflict handling, change management, and the RAIDs structure for managing risks and dependencies.
The course includes a detailed look at the PMO environment covering PMO frameworks, functions, deliverables, and organisational structure. Learners also develop the ability to prepare professional project reports, including status reports, event driven reports, highlight reports, exception reports, lessons learned reports, and closure reports. Practical training in Microsoft Project helps learners translate theory into real project planning.
By the end of the course, participants will be equipped with a strong foundation in project practices and ready to operate confidently in project teams, PMO settings, and fast-paced Agile environments.
